MISSION STATEMENT
To provide the highest quality diagnostic images and accurate interpretation services partnering with our oncologists to provide an optimum level of care for our patients.

Our Radiology Department has the first spiral CT scanner in the Augusta area to be fully accredited by the American College of Radiology. We also have a computed radiography room and can perform any routine exam required. All images are digitally transferred to our state-of-the-art PACS system, which provides our radiologist and the ordering physician immediate access to the images. Our technical staff is fully trained and able to provide the most up-to-date imaging techniques available. Our Board Certified radiologist is an expert in the interpretation of complex oncology patient studies and provides in-depth interpretation of those exams in order to improve patient care.

Rand A. Confer, M.D. was certified as a Radiologist by the American College of Radiology with a specialty in Diagnostic Radiology. A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia in 1991, Dr. Confer completed his residency at MCG in 1996.
