Augusta Oncology Physicians

Augusta Oncology Associates consists of 7 physicians specializing in oncology (the diagnosis and treatment of cancer) and hematology (the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases of the blood and bone marrow as well as the immunologic, hemostatic (blood clotting) and vascular systems) and 2 physicians that specialize in gynecological oncology (the diagnosis and treatment of women with cancer of the reproductive organs) who all work together on a rotating basis to provide around-the-clock coverage for their patients.

OUR NURSES

Our oncology nurses are an important part of your healthcare team. They have received specialized training in oncology and provide our patients with their chemotherapy treatments as well as assisting the physicians in patient education. They are also available on a daily basis to help with incoming telephone calls to evaluate and assist the patients’ needs.
