Augusta Oncology Associates consists of 7 physicians working together on a rotating basis in the hospital, office and “on call” in order to provide continuous, around the clock coverage for those patients who are referred to our practice.

Each physician is an Internist specializing in the field of oncology (the study of tumors) and hematology (the study of blood and blood forming organs).

In addition to our 7 full-time physicians, we also contract with 2 Gynecological Oncologists who join our staff several days a week.

The office also has oncology nurses who provide our patients with their chemotherapy treatments, help with incoming calls, and provide training and education. On a daily basis, our nurses are available to help with incoming telephone calls to evaluate and assist the patients’ needs.
