COVID BOOSTER SHOTS
Currently, the CDC is recommending that moderately to severely immunocompromised people receive an additional dose (booster) at least 28 days after the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. This includes people who have been receiving cancer treatment for tumors or cancers of the blood. There is no requirement for patients to provide a letter or permission to get the booster at this time. Our physicians agree with this CDC recommendation.
