Stacey Perry graduated from Shorter University in Rome, GA in 2012 with a BS in biology and a minor in piano pedagogy. She went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from August University in 2016 with her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
While obtaining her degree as Physician Assistant, Stacey was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. She received chemotherapy and two surgeries while attending school. She did a clinical rotation in medical oncology that solidified her desire to work in the field. She believes that her experience as a patient provides her a unique opportunity to relate to the patients she cares for. Her passion in oncology is to not only help the patient through their treatment, but to help them adjust to their new life as a survivor.
She spends her free time traveling, having game nights with her friends, playing piano, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
